Affidavit of Correction Form Download
An Affidavit of Correction provides notice of an error in a prior document and offers the correct information.
If an error occurs in an important document, it should be rectified by the filing of an Affidavit of Correction. An Affidavit of Correction is a sworn statement that identifies the error(s) along with the correct information. The error may be in a deed or record, a court filing as part of current court action, a finance application or other document. This Affidavit should be signed before a Notary.
