LEARN VISUAL BASIC 6 is a
self-paced comprehensive overview of the latest version of the Visual Basic programming language and
environment. The ten week course covers the toolbox in detail, building and distributing
applications (using the Package & Deployment Wizard), error handling, file access,
graphics, database access and management (using the legacy DAO Data Control and the new
ADO Data Control with Data Environment), the Windows API, multimedia, and advanced topics
such as web access, e-mail, printing and help system authoring. This curriculum is currently used in a major
university's introductory Visual Basic course.

Visual Basic 6 to build a wide variety of useful desktop
applications. Some of the applications built include:
Stopwatch, Calendar Display, Loan Repayment Calculator, Flash Card Math
Game, Database Input Screen, Statistics Calculator, Tic-Tac-Toe Game,
Capital City Quiz, Information Tracker (with plotting), Blackjack, Line,
Bar and Pie charts, a version of the first video game ever - Pong, and a
Telephone Directory.
LEARN VISUAL BASIC 6
is presented using a combination of over 550 pages of course notes and
over 100 Visual Basic examples (40 new examples added with Version 2.0)
and applications. To grasp the concepts presented in
