PowerDVD 6 allows users to adjust the pitch of audio when playing video or audio files. This feature adds an element of fun to Karaoke mode.
Audio Equalizer Presets
PowerDVD 6 offers a range of preset atmospheric effects for playing music or movies. Presets include: Classical, Dance, Bass, Sparkly, Pop Contemporary, 80s Glam Rock, Soft, Techno, Hard Rock, SKA, Country, Acoustic, Folk, or Blues.
Closed Captioning Support
Offers users the ability to watch a DVD title, in any region, with closed captioning for the hearing impaired.
Changeable Skins
PowerDVD 6 lets users change the look of their controls with a choice of stylish skins. Users can also download free skins via the CyberLink Web site.
Karaoke Mode
PowerDVD 6 lets users turn their computer into a Karaoke player while watching music videos on VCDs and DVDs. PowerDVD filters the audio tracks, letting users soften the original singer's voice so they can sing in accompaniment.
On-Screen Display (OSD)
Shows useful information about the current video being played.
