Although we all love taking photos, few of us really get the most out of our snaps. The real joy of AGFA Photo Album is that it encourages you to get the best out of your photographs by using your pictures over and over again, in as many albums as you like. You might pick out your holidays or choose to focus on someone growing up. Whatever you decide to do, you’ll find it’s really simple to put an album together.
You can scan in images or take pictures from a digital camera or CD and display them in one of over 50 styles. AGFA Photo album will present your images in a more interesting way and make them more accessible. It’s also great fun to use and will help you to get more enjoyment from all those special moments you’ve captured on camera.
Once you’ve selected a style for your album and decided how many pictures you want to display, you can add borders to those photos you want to emphasise. Having created an album, you can open and edit it. Choose to add, delete or shuffle pages, add text to describe the pictures or simply move the photos around. There are cut, copy and paste tools for you to use.
Work in the program’s Dark Room to transform your pictures. You can control brightness and contrast, crop, flip and rotate pictures. You can also change the look of your photo by adding a vignette, turning the image to sepia or using one of the other special effects available. You can even get rid of annoying little flaws, like red-eye, at the click of a button.
When you’re happy with your album, you can print it out or use the album viewer to scroll through pictures, either automatically or at your own pace. The program is great for showing off your snaps, because you can send the viewer to anyone with a PC, which means that friends and family can enjoy your pictures too. There’s even a function for turning albums into pages that can be used on the World Wide Web!
